The Base Station is an alarm gathering and routing unit which collects data from all Pacom Control Panels via the data and/or telephone network and passes it to the GMS workstations, logging printers, third party monitoring centers and other peripherals

Includes:
- dual hot-standby redundant CPU cards that process all alarm traffic
- multiple Central Communication Unit (CCU) cards for every 200 Control Panels (network or dialup)
- power supply

Typically required for enterprise-wide applications with many alarm/access control events requiring increased system redundancy
